REINTEGRATION FOR NEWCOMERS

This six (6) hour course is specifically designed for new immigrants who have

already driven a car in their country of origin. However, it is only valid if you are eligible to
exchange your driver's license with Quebec. Beforehand, inquire about the conditions related to
your situation. If you are eligible for the reintegration course, a certified driving instructor will
help you become aware of the driving differences between your country of origin and your adopted country.

The reintegration program is simply a refresher course to help you understand the cultural differences and driving standards here. With the help of your instructor, you will be able to more easily identify the acquired habits that you will need to
improve to drive safely and in compliance with North American rules.

OVERVIEW OF THE MANDATORY PROGRAM

The regular driver training course aims to develop a responsible attitude

in future drivers on the road. Throughout the learning program,

they will be taught certain values ​​such as:

Sharing the road

Avoiding risky behaviors

How to use the road network responsibly

The preventative component of the program also addresses alcohol,

drugs, and fatigue while driving; dangerous practices when

driving a motor vehicle. The student will learn how to practice eco-driving

in an environmentally friendly way. They will also have to learn the Highway Safety Code

through a book, which they must obtain when registering for the driver training course.


ACQUIRING SKILLS BEFORE THE FINAL EXAM AT THE SAAQ.

To pass their driver training course, students must have acquired the skills required by law
